Scottish music icons Deacon Blue have announced a 40th anniversary UK tour for October 2027.
The 13-date tour will see Deacon Blue perform their iconic 1987 debut album ‘Raintown’ in its glorious entirety alongside other gems from their four-decade career.
Opening at Liverpool M&S Bank Arena on Saturday 9th October, the tour visits Leeds, Hull, Nottingham, Newcastle, Cardiff, Brighton, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Manchester, London and Aberdeen before concluding with a homecoming concert at Glasgow OVO Hydro on Friday 29th October.
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 18th September.
Originally released on 26th May 1987, ‘Raintown’ sold over one million copies and spawned anthems including ‘Dignity’, ‘Chocolate Girl’ and ‘Loaded’.
