Kraftwerk UK tour

Kraftwerk

German electronic music godfathers Kraftwerk have announced their first full headline UK & Ireland tour in nine years.

Kraftwerk played a triumphant one-off festival show at Forever Now at Milton Keynes Bowl back in June, and they will return next May and June for 15 shows opening in Dublin on Sunday 17th May and wrapping up at Edinburgh Playhouse on Tuesday 8th June.

The Multimedia Tour also visits Belfast, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Glasgow, Stockton, Sheffield, Brighton, Bristol, Bournemouth, two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall, Liverpool and Nottingham.

Due to exceptional demand the electro pioneers have extended the tour to include two more shows in Manchester and London; 23rd May at O2 Apollo Manchester and 5th June at 10pm at Royal Albert Hall, London.

Tickets to Kraftwerk’s UK dates are on sale now.

Led by founder and sole constant member Ralf Hütter, Kraftwerk will play selections from across their eight classic studio albums: Autobahn (1974), Radio-Activity (1975), Trans Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Techno Pop (1986), The Mix (1991) & Tour De France (2003).

Each chosen composition is accompanied by state-of-the-art graphics enhancing the monumental beats and melodies into something that makes for a truly transcendental experience.
