Classic Albums Live

Classic Albums Live set to embark on UK Tour this September, performing The Beatles ‘White Album’ in full.

Canada’s Classic Albums Live are embarking on their first tour of the United Kingdom. The touring company was founded in 2003, by Craig Martin and has since gone on to become a mainstay in many great North American theatres and concert halls, with regular stops at Massey Hall, The Rady Shell and the Hard Rock Live.

The concept take is simple: perform classic albums exactly the way they were recorded – note for note / cut for cut, as the original artists intended it to be. No gimmicks, just pure musical excellence!

Martin assembles different groups of musicians to tackle musical masterpieces like, The Wall, Led Zeppelin II, Rumours and now CAL is introducing themselves to Great Britain with their presentation of The Beatles ‘White Album.’

Tickets are on sale now!

“Matching the musician to the album is crucial,” says Martin. “When we say note for note, we mean it.”

With over 200 shows per year, Classic Albums Live has established itself as the go-to show for live album recitals. Martin continues: “Performing in the UK adds a ‘coming home’ feel to the White Album. We’re going to pay this album the ultimate respect and perform it note for note, cut for cut.” Shows in North America have taken place in many prestigious halls: Massey Hall in Toronto, The Rady Shell in San Diego, Dr. Phillips Centre for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Jack Singer Hall in Calgary and now the spectacle will be adding to that list and hitting venues in the UK including Guildford G Live, Bradford Live and the Birmingham Symphony Hall.
